DiannaJoy is a retired U.S Marine and Distinguished Toastmaster with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. With a passion for helping others, she is known as the well-connected "Great Idea Fairy". She uses her varied experience and connections to help people imagine their best life and then make it happen. She loves being a wife, mother, family member, friend and Motivator!
As a United States Marine, she enjoyed a variety of duties to include Motor Transportation, Admin Chief, Security Officer, Suicide Prevention Officer and Equal Opportunity Advisor. Duty stations included Cherry Point NC, Yuma AZ, Okinawa JA and CA: San Diego, Oceanside, 29 Palms, Fresno and San Bruno.
As a Toastmaster, she completed the Communication and Leadership programs to earn the Distinguished Toastmaster Award. She served in numerous leadership roles to include being District Governor of District 35 Toastmasters for 2012-2013 and is currently the President of the EQ Leadership Toastmasters Club.
As the Co-Chair of the Veterans Committe of the Starfish Foundation, she has participated in multiple trauma recovery retreats, served on the Board of Directors, participated in Trauma Recovery Facilitation Training and continues to serve as a Retreat Supervisor of the Volunteer Staff or as an Instructor of these healing retreats.
